Notes from the Podium welcomes the submission of articles (both journalistic and peer-reviewed) – we are open to receiving pieces of varying lengths and subjects related to the subject of conducting. This includes (but is not restricted to) performance or rehearsal technique, history, biographies, reviews, opinion pieces, performance or score analysis, orchestral management, leadership studies etc.
If you are interested in our journal publishing your work, please outline your intentions in an email to info@notesfromthepodium.co.uk, and be aware that authors submitting articles are agreeing to the Contributors Agreement (please pay particular attention to Clause 2). Please also state whether you wish the article to be peer-reviewed or published in a more journalistic capacity.
Initially, we encourage authors to use their preferred referencing system and writing style. Any necessary adjustments can then be made if the article is accepted.
